Athens – my kind of a city

Hi guys! We just came back from a 10 days trip to Greece YAAAY. We've spent 3 days in Athens and 7 more days in Chalkida. However, this blog post is solely about Athens and I have to warn you... lots of pictures will be shown in here. Ok, so... what about Athens? Oh well, for me, Athens is just perfect. I really mean it. It's our 5th time visiting the city. A little bit awkward right? Why visiting this city so many times? Because we love everything about it! It’s a city we could visit again and again. In fact, we could even see ourselves living here. We like it that much!

Sicily Tour – 5 destinations in 6 days

Sicily! Ohhh Sicily! This was certainly one of our best trips. We stayed 6 days and we were a total of 6 friends looking forward to have lots of fun and explore as much as we could. Which we totally did! Just to have a first impression, our tour included the following locations: Castellammare del Golfo, Mondello, Palermo, Cefalù and San Vito lo Capo. Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea located in Europe. It is an autonomous Region of Italy, along with surrounding minor islands, officially referred to as Regione Siciliana. The total area of the island is 25,711 km2 while the Autonomous Region of Sicily (which includes smaller surrounding islands) has an area of 27,708 km2.

Budapest – surprisingly beautiful

Hello Budapest! I have to tell you this: with stunning architecture, refreshing thermal baths, and a culture that can be unique, Hungary's capital lives up to its reputation. Budapest is one of those cities that constantly ranks in various Top 10 lists, however it’s still hardly visited by many travelers. And that's a bummer... The Hungarian capital is really two cities – Buda and Pest – separated by the wide tract of the Danube, and only officially became one entity towards the end of the 19th century.

London – the one and only

Dear London, you were almost perfect! Why "almost"? Because of your crappy weather, of course. However, we did have an amazing time and we are looking forward to see you again! So yeah, I have to admit that London wasn't on our bucket-list and that's only because we love the sun... more than... the rain :)) Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay in London, which is enormous by the way and our 3 days spent there weren't enough to see all the places that husband and I wanted to visit. I think you'll probably need at least 1 week or so to see this amazing city at its best.

Milan – more than a fashion capital

Hello travelers! Today I want to tell you about my very last trip that husband and I had in Milan, Italy's fashion capital. But please don't let its reputation for style distract you because underneath it all, Milan can be more than this! Although I have to be honest and tell you that we were quite reserved at the beginning and did not expect much when we decided to visit this city, but in the end, it really surprised us in a pleasant way! When we started traveling on our own, we also started chasing the best deals, meaning also the cheapest ones, of course. For this trip we booked our Ryanair flight, from Bucharest to Milan, with only 5 Euros. I am not kidding. Only 5 Euros, it's true. And for the return flight, we booked Wizzair with 10 Euros. So this means no more and no less than 15 Euros each. AWEEESOME!

Rome – the eternal city

Hello there! Today I want to share with you guys moments and photos from my latest trip. Husband and I visited Rome in November, 2016 and I knew we would love this city even before going there. I am really fascinated about the Roman Empire which was the most extensive political and social structure in western civilization. But why is Rome being called the ETERNAL CITY?  Well, ancient Romans believed that no matter what happened to the world or how many empires came and collapsed, Rome would go on forever. And guess what? They were right! Oh and another thing... did you know the saying "all roads lead to Rome" is actually true? The Romans were extremely skilled road makers and the first to establish such a system of roads. They were also the first to use mile-markers and they designed their roads purposefully so that they all really led to Rome. So are you ready for this? Let's Rome!

Santorini – a place you’ll never forget

Hi guys! For my 1st post I really wanted to share with you how I started traveling on my own and how this soon became my newest passion. So, I got married in June 2016 yaaay ^^ and I wanted something special for our honeymoon that was meant to be in July. But what can be more special and super fancy and romantic than beautiful Santorini? I really bet nothing. Husband totally agreed because we both loooove Greece. For us, Greece is like a second home. We are visiting Greece for so many years, husband's sister is living in Chalkida, a wonderful city next to Athens and we are visiting her every summer. By the way, we also have great memories that bind us to Greece. Husband asked me to marry him at Meteora on those spectacular cliffs. I am a lucky girl, I know. It was perfect!
