Hello travelers! Today I want to tell you about my very last trip that husband and I had in Milan, Italy's fashion capital. But please don't let its reputation for style distract you because underneath it all, Milan can be more than this! Although I have to be honest and tell you that we were quite reserved at the beginning and did not expect much when we decided to visit this city, but in the end, it really surprised us in a pleasant way! When we started traveling on our own, we also started chasing the best deals, meaning also the cheapest ones, of course. For this trip we booked our Ryanair flight, from Bucharest to Milan, with only 5 Euros. I am not kidding. Only 5 Euros, it's true. And for the return flight, we booked Wizzair with 10 Euros. So this means no more and no less than 15 Euros each. AWEEESOME!
Hello hello! I'm back to tell you about our DAY 3 which was a day-trip from Rome to this magical town named Sperlonga. This was by far the most relaxing day but we still had some little adventures on this day too, no worries^^ So, let's start properly. Why Sperlonga? I've heard about this little town from my good friend @ipiripinapa and fell in love with it immediately as her photos were absolutely gorgeous. I knew I had to see it for myself as soon as possible! So this was a perfect occasion to visit this amazing town. Sperlonga is pretty close to Rome, 2 hours by train + bus, from Termini Central Station.
Hello there! Today I want to share with you guys moments and photos from my latest trip. Husband and I visited Rome in November, 2016 and I knew we would love this city even before going there. I am really fascinated about the Roman Empire which was the most extensive political and social structure in western civilization. But why is Rome being called the ETERNAL CITY? Well, ancient Romans believed that no matter what happened to the world or how many empires came and collapsed, Rome would go on forever. And guess what? They were right! Oh and another thing... did you know the saying "all roads lead to Rome" is actually true? The Romans were extremely skilled road makers and the first to establish such a system of roads. They were also the first to use mile-markers and they designed their roads purposefully so that they all really led to Rome. So are you ready for this? Let's Rome!
Hello again! Today I am going to tell you about my trip to Berlin that I had back in October, 2016. I now realized this is a “throwback thursday”. So, I was there with husband and a good friend of ours, expecting to have a lot of fun by exploring this city. Unfortunately, the weather was awful. In general, Berlin's weather in October should be like 15°C, which is good, right? But noooo, there were instead 8-9°C during the day, so imagine how this felt like into the night. It was very cold and we did not expect this, therefore we did not have many warm clothes with us. And if this wasn't enough, it rained too. PERFECT
Hi guys! For my 1st post I really wanted to share with you how I started traveling on my own and how this soon became my newest passion. So, I got married in June 2016 yaaay ^^ and I wanted something special for our honeymoon that was meant to be in July. But what can be more special and super fancy and romantic than beautiful Santorini? I really bet nothing. Husband totally agreed because we both loooove Greece. For us, Greece is like a second home. We are visiting Greece for so many years, husband's sister is living in Chalkida, a wonderful city next to Athens and we are visiting her every summer. By the way, we also have great memories that bind us to Greece. Husband asked me to marry him at Meteora on those spectacular cliffs. I am a lucky girl, I know. It was perfect!
